AGW ARCHITECT SERVICES
AGW Architecture is available for people who are taking on building projects, no matter how big or small. Below you can find out how the process works:
INITIAL CONSULTATION
An architect will meet you to discuss your requirements and we can use our experience and knowledge to let you know how realistic your proposal is. We can work out your expectations and ideas and go over your design issues, a schedule of when the project can take place and how much it will cost. The brief will only be translated into detailed designs once initial sketch proposals have been approved. We have a good understanding of how to apply the regulations and other rules, and clearly presented and professionally drawn up plans can save you time in the future and improve your chances of success.
ABOUT
We will find and brief consultants such as structural engineers or quantity surveyors. When approval is in place, drawings with full technical specifications will be prepared and recommendations will be made to form a contract that best suits your project. We will monitor the building work and organise site meetings to formally record how your project is progressing.
WORKING OUT THE BILL
We do not operate a fixed fee scale but full services vary from 6% to 16% of the total building costs depending on how big the project is. For a drawings-only service, an hourly rate is charged. A simple building requiring less attention from us usually attracts a smaller percentage fee.

These include: Property extensions, alterations and refurbishment, Basement conversions, Historic building conversions and refurbishment, New builds, Building alterations, planning applications and appeals, building dilapidation reports.
