AGW FAQS

At AGW Architecture, we are asked a lot of questions about the planning process and how to get applications off the ground. We hope that this list of FAQs can help you with your query. Of course, you can always give us a call if you need further information.

DO I NEED PLANNING PERMISSION?

For domestic properties, planning consent relates to changes in the external appearances or changes in use of a building. Your local council has the power to grant you permission or not, but we can advise and guide you on what can and cannot affect your ability to get permission granted. Planning policy is constantly changing, so we can keep you up to date on the points that are important for your project.

WHAT WILL I NEED TO MAKE A PLANNING APPLICATION?

We can help you with the design, drawings and submission of your planning application. You will require a location plan and a statutory application fee to accompany your application.

“I have used AGW Architecture on two occasions, and the results obtained throughout the whole process was commendable, from initial meeting through design stages to planning application and subsequent successful appeal against Pembrokeshire County Council, the success being due to the superior technical knowledge of M. Antony Walker.”
